For lazy fruit plates made of plastic, how can we ensure the safety of its materials, especially when it comes into contact with food, so that no harmful substances are released?

In modern life, lazy fruit plates made of plastic are popular for their lightness and diverse designs, but it is crucial to ensure their safety when in contact with food. This process involves multiple key lines of defense, such as raw material control, production process optimization, and strict testing.

The first is the selection of raw materials. Food-grade plastics, such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), which are widely recognized as safe and reliable materials, should be used to manufacture lazy fruit plates. They have the characteristics of high chemical stability and strong corrosion resistance, and are not easy to react chemically with fruit acids, water and other components in fruits. At the source of procurement, manufacturers need to strictly review the qualifications of suppliers and require detailed material composition reports, quality certification and other documents to ensure that each batch of plastic raw materials is pure and free of impurities, and to prevent the mixing of recycled plastics or plastics from unknown sources, so as to fundamentally reduce the risk of harmful substances.

Process control in the production process is indispensable. Advanced injection molding processes require precise control of temperature, pressure and time parameters. During high-temperature injection molding, if the temperature is too high, the plastic molecular chain is easy to break and decompose to produce harmful small molecules; and unstable pressure may cause uneven product density, weak points, and increase the probability of harmful substances leaking out. Therefore, precision temperature control equipment and automated pressure regulation systems are used to ensure that the plastic is evenly plasticized and molded under suitable conditions, tightly combined into a stable structure, minimize internal residual stress, and reduce the hidden dangers of material aging and decomposition.

Finished product testing is a solid checkpoint for safety. Before leaving the factory, lazy fruit plate needs to undergo multiple tests. Simulate the soaking experiment of different fruit environments, observe the pH of the water after soaking, the presence of odor and chemical precipitation, and use high-precision liquid chromatographs and mass spectrometers to analyze trace harmful substances in the water; migration tests simulate high temperature and long-term placement of fruit scenes, strictly limit the migration of harmful substances within the national standard and even more stringent international food contact material standards, and prevent the escape of harmful substances such as lead, mercury, and formaldehyde from the microscopic level. Only by screening and strictly controlling at every level can the plastic lazy fruit plate steadily carry the delicious fruit and protect the safety of consumers on the tip of the tongue.
